Concord's Shawna Receives 5-Year Pin

Concord's first recipient of the 5-year pin and fleece jacket award is Shawna Parker. She grew up in South Webster with her 2 brothers. She is the proud mother of two girls and a new grandson on the way.
Shawna likes gardening in flowers and collects primitive décor.
She started as a dietary aide. Because of her hard work and dedication, after a year she trained to be a cook. She has been cooking up a storm since with her ServSafe certificate. Shawna looks forward to talking to residents each day. She loves to work and clean. She will work anytime her supervisor needs her. Shawna says it doesn't feel like it has been 5 years. She misses her mother's advice. But we are thankful to have a dedicated, kind, hilarious, thoughtful cook as part of our Concord family.
