Fall Festival at Concord!
November 9, 2022
Concord was ecstatic to host our annual Fall Festival for our friends, family and neighbors. We are always so joyous to bring our community together for a fun evening of boos, laughs and, most importantly, candy!
We were blown away by the response and participation of our friends and families. They outdid themselves with the decked-out costumes, trunks and spook-tacular energy! We were so happy to have about 800 people in attendance throughout the night. It was heartwarming to watch our residents' faces light up as they interacted with each kid. Our residents' other favorite part was seeing everyone's creative costumes!
Our kitchen staff made sure no one went hungry by providing hot dogs, chips, cookies and drinks. We set up plenty of games for the kids, including a large inflatable obstacle course from M and M Inflatables and a petting zoo from The Barker Farm that had a baby skunk, baby goats, cow, camel, pig, bunny, chickens and a cavy.
Some of the other games we put together were face painting with characters like Darth Vader and Marshall from Paw Patrol, carnival games with prizes that were manned by Wheelersburg High School National Honor Society members and a costume contest with raffle prizes! Our local police department also participated in the celebration by giving out candy and badge stickers to the trick-or-treaters.
It was a pleasure to host and reconnect with everyone. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this event a success. Another big thank you goes to our friends and families for making it a special Halloween for our residents. We're already looking forward to next year!
